It’s a good this little miss tinklepants (yup, that’s me) was padded today!
I work in logistics and loading trailers is one of my responsibilities.
Today I was on top of a trailer with a non Dutch/English/German speaking driver. Usually when I have to switch loading to a different manhole, I close the current one and holler to the driver to pull forward so I can start with the next hole.
This time.. I shut off the flow, step towards the manhole cover and get a jerk from my safety harness cause the driver pulled forward without me being prepared… Well.. of I hadn’t been padded, I would have needed clean pants!
So thank goodness for being a good baby and wear protection even at work. 😀
